Mold, lead paint and asbestos inspections you can act on
Zeke D'Avy owns P12 Enviro Inspections, an environmental inspection company serving Dallas–Fort Worth, East Texas and Louisiana. He inspects and tests homes and small commercial buildings for mold and moisture, lead-based paint and asbestos.
Zeke D'Avy is the owner and inspector behind P12 Enviro Inspections, based in Royse City east of Dallas. He inspects everywhere in Dallas–Fort Worth, Northeast and East Texas and all of Louisiana, and offers emergency, weekend and holiday inspections when a closing or a cleanup cannot wait.
Mold and moisture inspections look for the water source as much as the mold itself: hidden moisture, water damage and the conditions that let microbial growth start. Zeke's view is that by the time mold is visible, moisture damage or rot is usually already under way. Lead-based paint testing covers homes built before 1978 and older small commercial buildings, especially before a renovation disturbs painted surfaces, and lead risk assessments extend to water, dust and soil. Asbestos sampling covers popcorn ceilings, floor tile, insulation and other suspect materials before demolition or remodeling.
Zeke works most often with homeowners worried about black mold or lead paint, restoration companies that need a clear scope before work starts, and property investors evaluating older buildings. He describes his approach as investigative, and he also offers Atmosphere SKY air treatment and eSpring water purification systems for clients who want cleaner indoor air and water after an inspection.

Questions people ask
I can see mold. Do I still need an inspection?
Visible mold usually means moisture damage has been under way for a while. The inspection identifies the moisture source and the extent of hidden growth so remediation addresses the cause rather than wiping the surface.
When should a home be tested for lead paint?
Homes built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Testing is recommended before any renovation that disturbs painted surfaces and for peace of mind in homes with young children. Lead risk assessments can also test water, dust and soil.
Can you come out quickly?
Yes. P12 Enviro offers emergency, weekend and holiday inspections across Dallas–Fort Worth, East Texas and Louisiana. These may carry an additional fee.
