How it works

What happens after you reach out

  1. Free discovery visit A conversation about what is going on, what has already been tried, and whether this approach is right for the problem. No charge, no obligation.
  2. Full examination A neuro-musculoskeletal exam to find the root cause, including ruling out anything that should be seen by a physician instead.
  3. Findings and plan What was found and what it means, then a treatment plan built around the client's own goals.
  4. Treat, load, teach Hands-on treatment, loaded movement, and the self-mobilization and exercise needed so the change holds between visits.

In Brent's words

Situations Brent handles every week

Back pain or sciatica that keeps coming back

Low back pain is the most common reason people call the practice, and often it has been treated as a symptom rather than a pattern. Brent starts with a full neuro-musculoskeletal exam to find the source, since pain down the leg has several possible causes, then combines hands-on treatment with exercise so the change holds between visits.

Neck pain and headaches

Neck pain, headaches and migraines, and TMJ are on the practice's list of conditions treated. Treatment targets the muscles and joints involved, using manipulation, dry needling and exercise, with a screen for anything that should be seen by a physician instead.

A shoulder that has stopped moving

From impingement to frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), the right treatment depends on the stage. Brent assesses which stage a shoulder is in before choosing what to do.

Knee, hip or foot pain that limits training

Runner's knee, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, hip pain and tendonitis are common in active adults. Sports performance therapy uses a full-body evaluation to find the compensation behind the pain, before and during a season as well as after an injury.

Rebuilding strength after surgery

Post-surgical rehabilitation is part of the practice. Blood flow restriction therapy lets clients build strength at light loads that a recovering joint can tolerate, after a review of vascular and cardiac history.

Pain managed with medication instead of addressed

Brent built the practice after seeing prescriptions slow patients' recovery in home health and orthopedic settings. The aim is to treat the cause and teach each client the exercises and self-mobilization to use at home.
